Short film compilation by various directors (2016, 80 min)
A food laboratory in Warsaw, a transit village in Ireland, downtown Amsterdam on Sunday: our films are shown at these and other venues and turn them into agents. EUROPOLY has invited directors and artists – actors, musicians, activists, writers – from European countries to feel out the transformations undergone by the old continent since the debt crisis. The resultant short films are radically personal and direct our attention to details: where the changes can be seen and how they affect individuals.
Followed by the DISCUSSION:
Europe after Trump:
France, Germany and the Netherlands will elect new governments in 2017. In all countries, right-wing populists are on the rise. What are their chances, their programs? Will the European Union survive this new trend? And how do the on-going discussions affect daily life? An open forum / talk with speakers from the three European countries.
